A licensed Chiropractor serving the Chandler, AZ community; committed to promoting the optimal health and wellbeing of his patients. We use a “whole person approach,” an approach to wellness that focuses on finding the underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may not be causing symptoms at the time) and then make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments necessary to optimize the conditions for normal function.
Our ultimate goal is to help each of his patients achieve their highest degree of overall wellness and maintain a comfortable lifestyle. Most healthcare providers’ solution to injury or pain is to simply limit activity. It is all too easy to tell a patient whose back hurts from running to simply stop running. No one wants to be told that they are no longer going to be able to sit on the ground to play with their grandchildren, that they should not go on bike rides with their spouse, or that they should stop playing ball with their kids. Our approach to healing counters this mainstream solution to treat symptoms and instead helps his patients reach and maintain their optimum level of wellness so that they can be more comfortable doing whatever they do, be it sitting at a desk, snowboarding, or sleeping. We want you to realize how good life can be when you are pain-free and feeling well.
Dr. David Voyer
Dr. David Voyer is a Chandler chiropractor who’s been practicing since 1999 and serves Chandler and the surrounding communities of Gilbert, Sun Lakes, Mesa and Tempe in AZ.
If you were to ask Dr. David Voyer how he decided to become a chiropractor, he’d tell you that his intention was actually to become a medical doctor and that he was about to start medical school when he injured his own back while working in a manual labor summer job to help pay for his tuition.
“It was excruciating! I hurt my back so badly that I could barely stand yet alone walk. Being medically oriented at the time, I went to local hospital emergency room where I waited for hours to finally see a doctor who himself looked completely unhealthy and who barely touched me but just wrote me 3 prescriptions and said to lay in bed for the next 10 days. First off even though I was young and inexperienced at the time I knew that wasn’t the answer nor could I afford to miss all that work. So I reluctantly went to a chiropractor. That decision changed my life. Not only did my back pain get better and go away but I continued to work with the chiropractor to fix why my back ‘let go’ in the first place. To my amazement the headaches that I’d get once or twice a week and thought were normal went away and even my allergies started to clear up. To all my friends and family’s surprised, I changed my career path from a medical doctor to chiropractor and have never looked back. It was the best decision of my life.”
Dr. David Voyer uses gentle chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient’s lives, whether they are having problems with back pain, neck pain, injuries from sports or car accidents or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. Voyer takes a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Voyer will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs.
